7:30pm – The day has about come to a close. I was up way too early this morning – about 4:00am Pacific time. After drinking coffee for a while, I began trying to make changes to my landing page on this site. Being unable to do it my self, I reached out to WordPress support. They have a very helpful AI assistant that can do quite a lot and answers tough questions, but today that was not the case. I went around and around for two and a half hours. Seriously, every time I thought it had solved it; it was off again. I eventually got a human to interact, and that helped I guess. By nine thirty I had a line on fixing the issue. I had had enough, and went out to make an exposure of a Birch tree. It was a brief two and a half minute exposure with an ND4 filter behind the lens. The outside air refreshed me.

I continued on with my site after stopping for lunch. At four thirty FedEx arrived with the reel for my JOBO tank, I felt excited to get the part that I have been waiting ten days for. It wasn’t long until I knew that I was in trouble. The 2509N reel for film just wouldn’t work for me; it was too delicate and unmanageable for the task at hand. So, instead of developing film, I am writing this. I will be returning the JOBO reel and its corresponding 2520 multitank to the store in NY. JOBO processors are great, but not this setup.

I ordered an immersion bath tank that is simpler and has good reviews. It wont arrive for ten days to two weeks. I don’t live anywhere near a metropolitan area here in lovely Southern Oregon, so things take time.
